So who's up for some predictions

I feel like the duo from Astral Chain actually have a pretty decent shot, especially if Nintendo wants to promote that game through Smash.
We haven't got a dlc character included to directly advertise a future release yet, and the Astral Chain characters look like they could inspire a neat moveset.

Anyways calling Bandana Dee and Phoenix Wright with Geno as a character outside of the pass

My question is could we at LEAST get Goku for once. I know Sakurai shot down this theory, but it would still be really cool to see him in Smash! (EXCLUDING SSF2. We already have Goku in that game.)

I don't think we'll have "upcoming" characters. During Dev on Ultimate, I'm pretty sure Sakurai talked about only adding characters with "legacy". Joker seems like a universal fan favorite video game character, DQ is a japan pick, Banjo-Kazooie is an american pick. My guess is we'll get another pair sometime, one to please japan and one to please the west because you know that's what happened. Either than or two universally loved characters but I don't know who they could be.

I will say Banjo-Kazooie moved Geno from 0% to likely for me. I can't believe the mad men did it.
