And considering how Namco and Capcom already have their mascots in the game, it makes you wonder that shouldn't Sonic be in it too?

Also if you look at Card Wars Saga:

It really shows that Sonic and Tails can both fit into the anime style very well (even though this isn't anime style i suppose)

I was talking about Opa Opa and Ulala. They seem either to look like background characters, but they look like they're on the same floor as the fighters. I was thinking there could be some "supporting character" thing on this game, since I know it's a "two characters=one player" thing.

Ulala was one of the first characters to be revealed as playable, but what you say makes sense. Some screenshots indeed show characters from multiple pairs in one battle, so perhaps there is some tag team mechanic involved? I'm really curious to see how the gameplay works and functions. I hope the trailer goes in depth about that, but I doubt it.

It's definitely funny to see Opa Opa, I wonder if he will be fully playable, or indeed a 'support/summon character'.

Seems like a lot of people are interested in this game,maybe this game will guarantee the 3DS's victory this gen.

I think the 3DS' victory will depend more on Kid Icarus: Uprising and other Ninentitles. But none the less, this is a really, really welcome addition to the 3DS' arsenal and defintely a game I'm going to pick up if it comes to Europe.
