I'd be surprised if we don't get Aegishlash/one of its pre-evos. They were really popular as far as XY goes, and who doesn't love a Pokémon made of freakin' swords?

There was an interview with Niantic and they talked about Pokemon GO. By going with what they're explaining this is how the game might work/have:

• There will be Gyms;
• Gyms are used to level up and battle (people? random NPCs?);
• Gyms are harder/rare to find so you'll have to put some effort to get there (unless you're lucky and there's one next to you);
• Pokémon will live in different parts of the world depending on what type of Pokémon they are;
• You'll find pokémon in various place depending on their types (Water pokémon are found near water sources...duh)
• Very rare pokémon may exist in very few places
• You'll have to actually travel the World to find all of them (I'm still not going to Australia to die by a Sharkangaspiderlizard-dinisorex);
• They're want to make it so after around 5 minutes of walk you find a Pokémon. They don't want us to walk endlessly just to see a pokémon. These Pokémon will be basic ones though;
• There will be Pokémon events like in Ingress where you can battle and trade stuff, (By stuff I guess they mean items are tradable too?);
• By what they're saying, it seems you don't have to fight a wild pokemon to capture it ''But the idea is you can give them the Pokémon Go Plus device. It vibrates and flashes when you’re near Pokémon. When they press a button in a certain sequence they capture it. Then, later on, you can look at it together on your phone or tablet.'';
• They likely changed the GO plus device as they mentionned the prototype device being a bit heavier and bigger;
• GO plus battery last long
• There will be teams to join in Pokémon, more than two. Those teams will compete against one another;

I do hope you can trade Pokemon with people from different countries.

From what I read it seems your best shot is by going to events.

I wonder if the GO Plus work even if my phone is home and I'm at school or something. They mentionned that a kid could go to school with it on their backpacks and still catch pokémon(?) maybe idk

I'm calling it. It's Heracross.
We don't have a Bug-type yet, we haven't had a Fighting-type announced since the beginning, and Heracross's Japanese name has the "ラ" symbol that the article mentions (the "ra" sound is even heard in the English version). iirc, the stripes around the teaser photo are dark-green, a color commonly associated with Bug-types.
Second guess is Kanghaskan, since its Nat. Dex number (#115) matches the reveal date -- 1/15.
