As for Lucario, I'm kind of surprised he's back. He was up there with Toon Link in the list of Brawl characters I thought might get cut. I like his colors this time around.

It's also nice to see him being shown early, despite being a secret character in Brawl. This has been discussed before, but Lucario supports the idea that he's focusing on veterans pre-launch, and the most exciting newcomers will be secret characters. I hope it ends up that way, since Brawl's secret character list was hugely disappointing, despite the pre-launch hype

Zoroark supporters are probably pissed.

For people who are worried about random tripping, Sakurai already confirmed that there WILL NO LONGER be random tripping, but tripping as a whole still exists. Certain attacks/items, like Diddy's bananas, can cause tripping, so we simply saw Lucario being caused to trip after getting hit by a certain attack/item.

I hope that Lucario has his mega form in the game and I really hope Mewtwo returns with his mega form, forget Pokemon Trainer

Well, it was announced on Brawl's sixth Japanese anniversary.

I support Zoroark but I don't know if he'll be in/don't expect him. It'd be cool but he's not on the top of my list.

He was the legendary pokemon that I really wanted the most for this game.

lucario isn't legendary

to be honest the main reason i don't see zoroark being playable is because i can't think of a way his gimmick would be implemented while being useful and not just a funny little gimmick

Sakurai also confirmed to me that tripping, a significant and frustrating element from Super Smash Bros. Brawl had been removed. The series creator described the gameplay direction of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Super Smash Bros. 3DS as being somewhere between the faster, more competitive style of Melee and the slower, more casual design of Brawl. No doubt that will be good news for those wanting a better compromise.-IGN
