1. When someone clicks on the "Site and Forum Suggestions/Problems" text they get taken to a page that says "DO NOT POST SSF2 OR GAME IDEAS IN THIS FORUM." in huge red text. Then they scroll down, hit an ok button and get taken to the topics.
2. Automatically ban any user with sonic, fan, or noob in their username.

Number 2 seems kinda harsh, but really they should know in Large Red Bold to not post SSF2 ideas here.

And what's wrong with the quite obviously noticable text at the top of every page in this forum that displays the same thing? The same effect is there, except that there's an "ok" button in your suggestion. You can't just decide a person is a n00b based on their username. I say this from experience. Anyways, n00bs will always exist. There's no way to permanently get rid of them without negatively affecting the entire forums, so we're much better off just dealing with them when they're here. If a person joins a forums, they should be smart enough to read the rules on their own--we shouldn't be shoving the rules down their throat though, because that's just unappealing.

True... it wouldnt kill them just to look and think "oh, its bold and red..., maybe i should do that..." but remember, we were all n00bs at one point in our lives... we made the same mistakes... instead of auto-banning them for not following the rules... maybe we should guide the newcomers for a little bit... u know, like how our parents do (or did)... teach em how to spread their two left wings and fly...

Yeah, darkwaluigi, that's called warnings. I doubt these n00bs simply get autobanned for their...well...n00biness. Warnings aren't meant to piss them off or anything--they serve as a reminder to simply follow rules. However, maybe we could do something like remind them to follow the rules in their Welcome topic? That's all the guidance they need, however we can only provide so much for them.

Half the f*** posts in there say something about "and remember to read the rules lol", and the one's at don't mention grammar in some way, shape or form. If they don't listen and do the wrong thing, they'll end up getting banned. That's really all there is to it.

It might be a little more appealing to provide a link to the rules as well. Plus, bad grammar isn't exactly a horrible offense.

That's just silly.
First off, if they're the kind of person to just scroll past the big red text that's conveniently located in the middle of the screen when they first enter the section, they'll ignore it even if they have to click an OK button.
Secondly, while there's a larger percentage of.. Special people who name themselves after Sonic or Link or whatever, auto-banning them wouldn't really cut down on the stupidity.
Case in point, I count two numbskulls in this topic right now.
I'll give a cookie to anyone who can tell me who and why.
