i finished the game
if you liked dark souls there is no reason you won't like this one (i actually think it's better!!!)
the only complaint i have is that one of the boss fights was mega dumb, mostly because it's at the end of an area where players invade you for entering the area. think forest hunters from ds1

the spoiler isn't really much of a spoiler, just details one of the covenants. spoilered it in case somebody wants a 100% UNTAINTED EXPERIENCE

If nothing else the beginning is better

You can be as "hardcore" as you want but being eased into the game is a lot better than being thrown into the deep end like DS1
