when someone edits there post, make that forum show that it has been updated-(the circle thing goes orange).
The reason i think this would be a good idea is because you know if some ones edited there post, its kinda like a new reply. Sometimes you dont know they've edited so you dont check the froum. _________________  super smash bros blits(working title)-1% done new flash game |

And there are MODS that do this. If you want to do this, it's possible and easy. To be more specific, some of those topics allow you to make the post appear as "new" as long as the main post (first post) us updated; which would be very usefull for games/art and sprites galleries. On the other hand , the big problem about this is that it allows you to re-bump your topic all the times you want; and that can be bad if you have post-whorers. |

Yeah, double posting is OK because many newbies might press post twice, don't see the edit button, etc. I don't think you should penalize them for what other people do. _________________

But just think, the scenario you mentioned just now was an accident. But if they read the rules, it would be no accident. If a moderator sees the rule broken and the user is new then it probably was an accident, in which case it should be up to the moderator's discretion.
