Yeah. His attacks are short. But that shouldn't be a problem if you can dodge perfectly fine. Or shield, for that matter. No ranged attacks isn't a problem if you can rush the s*** out of your opponent.

What? Why the hell shouldn't he be on the tier list at all? And you back it up with the fact you think he isn't overpowered? If anything, that would be more of a reason to put him ON a tier list. But he already is, so.

Yeah, and, Olimar has incredible potential. "Oh please, I'd like to see one GOOD Link match with him only using his bombs. It's downright IMPOSSIBLE for Link to be ANY GOOD without any of his attacks but bombs. He is large, has huge lag after his attacks, and he has a very low vertical recovery. He is just so bad."

Honestly, I've mained Link for years. I've been playing SSB for quite some f*** time now. I'm not competitive but I know damn well Link isn't the best character in the game. I think I've been playing SSB since I was like, 4-5. I'm almost 16 now. So that's 11-12 years.

I think it's just crazy how long one person can keep up against many on this subject

Isn't the pikmin the entire point of Olimar's moveset? Without pikmin, most of his attacks are disabled. His recovery depends on the amount of Pikmin you have. If you maxed out your Pikmin, Olimar has really great recovery. He also has long-reach attacks to his advantage with the help of Pikmin.

You pretty much judged a character's potential without it's weapons. If i take Link's weapons and arsenal away from him, he would have:

-No recovery at all
-Can only fight with his fists that do poor damage
-Most likely been the very bottom character of the tier list
