Hardy slapped his forehead. "Well, I hate babysitting more than I care for your safety, so Trent, go take Hunter over behind that hill over there." He pointed to a secluded spot, out of sight of everyone.

Penn took a seat at the fire, waiting patiently for Hardy. "What would that be, youngster?" Penn asked.

"Hmph."
Remy listened in, even though still slightly annoyed by being called prissy.

Hardy forced Soren to the ground next to the fire and had Gizmo sit next to him. He moved Kyra next to Penn. As Trent took Hunter behind the hill disgustedly, he sat down on the other side of the fire, facing everyone. "I know this may be sudden for a lot of you, what with all of the death and wastelandic terrain, but there is something you need to know. That thing is why all of this has happened. The president of the world had issued a genocide of "wrong" humans, which he now refers to as "Impurities." The term was coined for certain reasons, mainly because all that didn't believe he was a deity were sinners. Others believed, but didn't want to follow his murderous path, so they too were labeled as such. But who's to say we're Impurities?" Hardy stood up.

"I have a new name for us. We refuse to abide by the dictations of our oppressor. We stand together alone. We fight all but one. We know everything about nothing. We are the "United Mavericks." Our mission: liberate this world. If you do not wish to help, you may leave. Wander the broken plains forever."

"I always had a feeling the government was corrupted, but the president..? I will help in whatever way I can, Hardy." Penn replied, thinking deeply.

"Excellent. Remy, Kyra, Soren? How do all of you feel about this?"

Kyra sat quietly for a moment only letting out a, "Well I guess there is... not choice."

"As much as it pains me to agree with someone so lowly... as yourself."

"I'm afraid that I must to say yes."

"Thank you, everyone. And I'm sure my unconscious friend Soren here will also agree." Trent and Hunter returned from their bathroom break. (OOC: I'll leave it up to your imagination as to what they did behind that hill. You sickos.) "Now that we've established our cooperation, we need to learn some things about ourselves. We'll go around the circle. I'll start and then pick someone else to say something. Then, that person will say something and pick someone else and so on. You may say anything you want about your personal life, but you don't have to include much at all if you don't feel comfortable. Just remember that we could function better if we were all better acquaintances. Alright, well my name is Hardy and I'm from Ivalice, Califernus. My parents were rich, so I was allowed access to much of the world's governmental status reports. One day, I found one such report stating that the president wanted to free the world from it's sin. I knew he had gone completely insane, so I went to my parents for help. But, of course, they had believed the president and decided to help him. I'm not sure where they are now, but I'm certain they're among the ruler's inner circle. I have completely detached myself from them, so if anyone's worried about me being a double agent, you're sorely mistaken. My strengths are leadership, skill with hand guns and bladed weapons, and my intelligence. Any questions?"

"Uh, yeah. What were you talking about while I was back there with the kid?" Trent asks, raising his hand.

"Ah, well bottom line, evil dictator rules the world. Wanna help us kill him and restore balance?"

"If it means I get to bash his head in, then yes." Trent replies.

"Perfect, tell us a little about yourself and then call on someone else."
