It's simply because of the censor settings of the person who quotes it, nothing more.

This one's actually being annoying me for ages.
When you are typing a really long post without the quick reply (this often occurs if quoting a large post), as you get further on in typing the message, the scrollbar keeps shooting up to the top of the post, and it's a pain in the a**. Try quoting a text wall and then writing your own text wall under it to see what I mean. |

When you go to UCP, there's the Verification* which is not nessacary because anyone who wants to be on the Forums IS obviously human.
