Well, I'm pretty sure the code to implement that into phpBB is floating around somewhere, but what I'm really wondering is, what would we do with it? Podcasts? Put Cleod's music on there? Risk getting sued by playing copyrighted music?

Did you post this mainly because you want music or more of a talk show kind of thing? I wouldn't know how to set either of them up, but I could imagine having like a group of users managing a podcast of some sort. Heh, I can just imagine a segment in which Hakker lists the people he's warned/banned this week. But in all seriousness, I reckon it wouldn't be too bad. We could have your music playing at time, and at other times have certain people talk about various things. Like maybe each week someone from the upcoming games section could talk a bit about their game and give progress reports? We could have a section where devs and balancers give little updates on what's going on behind the scenes. If you or DT could work out how to do it, I'd personally quite enjoy it. |
