The births came 34 weeks after she became impregnated to ease the pain caused by the death of her 28-year-old daughter, Tingting, who died in a suspected gas poisoning incident early last year along with her husband, it said.

I've heard several stories regrding this. Some involved the women lying about their age because they were too old, but it seems very implausible to me that that would be the case here.

Late pregnacies are generally more risky for the children, but really, this case is very different to most others.

Even then, I'm hard pressed to really judge a woman about getting children when she's childless, even if it is likely unhealthy for the children.

I think my science teacher said something about how like Down Syndrome or something is more common in children from late pregnancies because the woman in question is out of her 'prime' or something.

It has more to do with the genes themselves decreasing in quality than anything else.

It's quite stupid, though. Why not adopt a child, rather than give birth?

Oh and, longevity is usually when a child - quote: A CHILD - lives for 5 years. Yes, 5 years. Not 100 years or something else, but 5 years old.
