Just found this article recently. It seems it is sort of a Online-Only console after all..

Basically, It is required that you must connect online at least once every 24 hours to keep playing your offline content. |

I've never been a fan of Xbox. I always thought it was overrated. This is just laughably bad. I'm sticking to my PC.
