Haingi spins his sword around his wrist a few times and grabs it again. "That's what you say. Besides, it's your own fault for attacking me in the first place! You got what you deserved for being so rude to a friend of one of your own." He holds his sword outward and crouches low, with his torso between his left hand and Kevin so Kevin can't see it. He's charging a Cero...

He takes a few still-crouching steps toward Kevin and jumps, spinning with his sword like Link in Smash Bros, except he doesn't get any higher than his low jump. He goes right toward Kevin, and continues spinning when he lands.

"I thought this was a fight." Kevin says with a smirk. He was making Haingi's shadow slowly crawl up his body.

Kevin's earlobe is sliced clear off due to his failure to dodge, and when Haingi lands he does 2 rotations and then pushes the Cero at Kevin's chest, not letting go of it. He doesn't notice his shadow at all due to his focusing on his actions, beside a slight restriction of movement. But he just ignores it, thinking he's just imagining it.

Kevin smiles. "Say hello to your new playmate." With that, Haingi's shadow grabs Haingi's arm, and tightens itself around it, putting pressure on it.

Haingi's arm is stopped, but he stills fires the Cero he was holding, throwing it only an inch or so away from Kevin so it's almost certain to hit. Once he sees his shadow, he starts to emit red energy from his entire body. "The thing about red energy is that it's only used by Hollow, which are demon spirits that feed off of soul reapers like me and plus spirits that roam around Earth. Since Hollow are demons, red energy is consisted mostly of dark energy, so it can absorb things like shadow attacks and that missile you just through at me. What's better, though, is that the remaining piece is condensed and concentrated pure energy... So it can do plenty of damage, too. What I'm doing now is absorbing my shadow with red energy, and then I'm going to fire it all at you."

Kevin smiles as he gets blown back. He pulled out his scythe at the last second to take the brunt of the hit. "Or is it the other way? What if I were to, oh, I don't know, have the shadow absorb YOUR energy?" He says with a grin. The shadow begins feeding off the energy Haingi is giving off. "Don't worry, she will only feed off enough so she doesn't get absorbed. And yes, your shadow is a girl. It doesn't have to be your gender, either."

"Urgh..." Haingi groans, struggling as much as possible. He mutters something under his breath, trying not to give into the pain of his arm getting squished.

Kevin chuckles. "If it was absorbed into you , I would have it rip you apart from the inside. Enjoy the pain!" The shadow tightens around Haingi's arm.

It turns out Haingi said "Uchiwa, cut this thing to bits" but had it delay a few seconds. His sword, which he was still holding, grew a ring around the handle and quickly grew 2 more blades evenly spaced around the ring. He spun it, carefully slicing through his shadow. It felt sort of tingly, like he was ripping part of his spirit out.

Kevin laughs. "Nice job, buster, Part of your spirit has been ripped. Would you like me to form them both?" Thee two pieces of shadow form 2 new shadows, which hop around Haingi in strange patterns.

"Fine... but as proven multiple times, light always prevails over darkness in the end. And what I have on my side is pure energy, while you only have darkness." Haingi says angrily. He stops giving off red energy altogether, and switches over to pure energy, light blue in color. "Oh, and I always do have one more trick up my sleeve... like, i don't know... Bankai?"

He says that last word through clenched teeth, and it turns out he was saying it to transform. The handle extends to his right, growing out 6 feet. When he grabs it again outside of the ring, the blades rotate 90 degrees and another forms on the other end of the pole. When this 5-second process is complete, his spirit pressure and the energy he gives off triple.

Kevin smiles. "How cute." He yawns. "This battle is quite boring, wouldn't you say old chap?"

The shadows start to loosen from Haingi's arm and slowly revert to the ground where they naturally belong. "Cute? I just won this battle. So yeah, it is pretty boring." Haingi says, crouching with his sword arm behind him a little.

Kevin chuckles. "News flash: I'm the only Traveler that can control his demon. Don't count your chickens before they hatch." Kevin stands still, waiting for Haingi to make a move.

"More like don't count your chickens before they [i]die![i]" Haingi yells, and spins the pole above his head a few times before using the inch of the pole that reaches outside the blade rings to pole-vault right into Kevin with his feet forward, aiming to kick him in the throat.
