Any of you remember the Sage Temples in WW where you controlled Makar and Medli along with Link to solve puzzles?
Maybe an updated version of that, using Link's tools and Zelda's Magic?

Zelda could perhaps be in the past, making adjustements to the dungeons, that can help Link advance in the present, and the team can obtain items can obtain key items in the future that can be brought back to the present to have the technology actually discovered years prior to the orignal future, speeding up the evolution of human technology and altering the future in the process.

Because we really need another game that messes with the timeline...

And depending on where you go in it, what sort of technology are you referring to? ST had trains and junk, and SS had a Precursor dungeon.

If the timeline EVER gets in the way even SLIGHTLY of making a great f*** game then you aren't doing Zelda right.

this basically

the timeline is just a cheap contrivance for selling merchandise and entertaining nerds on the internet, it shouldn't affect how you experience the game itself

if i had to place favorites on zelda games, it'd be something like this:
1st: OOT, TP, or MM, depends on what I like to play at the time
2nd: another one of the above 3
3rd: the last of the above 3
4th: LoZ
5th: WW

Link's Awakening > everything

Of course, I haven't played any Zeldas besides the original, A Link to the Past, and Link's Awakening. I really should go play more.

No love for Skyward Sword?

I thought Spirit Tracks was pretty cool.

Before this devolves into something, which I'm pretty certain it will, it's an opinion.
I enjoyed SS, mainly because of pacing reasons, albeit the battery life of the Wii Mote should be improved.

My favorite is definitely Wind Waker. I spent soooooooooo much time sailing around and adventuring.

SS was fun at first but it got pretty boring as it went on

SS was just ok IMO. There was nothing really that terrific about it and I really didn't like the overworld at all. I did like some of the dungeon design though, and fighting Koloktos was awesome.
