I still don't get exactly what you're trying to do...

I am assuming they want to exclude people who don't know how. You know, this way less people RP, that way the group also is going to get smaller because people won't be as good later being expelled. Right? This way only a select few may RP? Great idea.

Well that's what the Pro-RP group is for. Admittedly, nothing has been happening in pros in ages. if we deny normal members the chance to RP, it'd be a bad thing.

I'd rather they join the member group on their own though, so those who want to RP will, instead of testing for each one.

I just wish there was more to the RP sections.

I really don't know what I'm getting at, but at least it sounds nice.

Instead of limiting then, why don't we promote RPing to the forum. We need something to incite the wanting of being there.

Well, what could that be? All we have is Winds and Flames. All the others have been shot down or been given up on. Could we make a section dedicated to RP battles?

Im also for making it mean more, to the same extent, im for making everything on this site mean more. Ive seen on some other forums, users get "items" and other "rewards" for what they do on the site. Now, i recall this from a Silent Hill fan site in particular, where users got items and weapons from the games, for no use other than they have them. It actually worked well. The 'items' they obtained appeared graphically under their avatar when they posted

What id like is the same kind of system with 'items' you get for certain things, maybe such as winning a contest in the contest section or beating an RP champ in the RP section. What would be the point you ask? Nothing, its all in good fun, and is similar in theory to the aspect of "achievements" on XBOX Live or on STEAM. They're there for no reason other than to promote the usage of the system.

I like Nini's idea, Except that it reminds me of ranks, which people'll obviously use it as to determine who's better, etc.
But still I like it..

But why not let a fresh new batch of Rpers into the Pros?

Actually, promoting the RPs actually falls under the category of RP. This means it is on topic, yes? As is getting item x/y for RPs is also relevant to to the topic as well.

Red tape is wrapped around determining the new RP Pro group mod so that the Pro group can get a shot in the arm and get going again.
