to take things for srs... it would be a good idea to have a debate and discussion forum

What you are mainly gonna get is:

Aº If it's open to anyone: a Place where no0bs are going to say idiotic stuff. It's going to be annoying, and stuff.

BºIf it's closed: a place where you should be popular to enter (So, un-popular guys like me are not going to be allowed), and where people complain about users who are not inside the group.

I think there should be a debate topic "DEBATE" not discussion because then it would get spammed...
I think only people who prove themselves to be mature should only be allowed to post in it.
I think that to get into the group you should pm the mods or Cleod who would look at past posts and see if you are worthy.

It would be a great idea but I doubt it could be made, the mods and Cleod have enough trouble on their hands with all of the nubs joining right now, I think it’s not the time to suggest such a demanding act. And maybe when the forums are back on track, it can be put into action.

In LD, debates only lasted a week. The only topic posted in regularly was the User Complaint topic.
