i think it's going to be the same thing, judging from the story mode trailer having clips of them talking about how he's performing during and after the match and the fact it's a soccer game i got the idea that it's just cutscenes

well either way it's a concept I'd like to see explored more

i think it'll probably work better for non-team sports games though, like boxing and the UFC games

actually I remember hearing about Fight Night Champion having a story mode too, I'll check that out sometime

edit: listened to some people talking about a preview they went through at E3, you play as a fixed character but there's dialogue options and some of the stuff you do on the pitch affects what happens in the story and stuff like that. there's also stat progression, so it's basically an RPG but you're a footballer. the devs even said they went to other EA studios (including bioware lmao) for advice on structuring it

anyway it all sounds pretty neat, definitely better than the "playing FIFA but having cutscenes between games" approach I was fearing. looking forward to seeing if it's actually executed well

Reminder not to buy the skyrim special edition because it's just a graphics upgrade with no new content, and if you haven't been following the console mods it's been a huge fiasco. Console kiddies giving modders bad reviews because of them refusing to port mods due to either not wanting to downgrade or not wanting to brick the console

There is Rayman Adventures for the iPad but I don't think that that is what you're looking for (it's also not that great). In general Legends felt structured like a mobile game and I didn't like that very much (although the game itself was very good), I'd rather see them try something new.

I wouldn't mind a new 3D rayman or a new Rayman M even.

As a franchise Assassin's Creed has kind of lost its focus where the plot is concerned so I'd really much prefer them if they lift some of the more succesfull elements of that series and use them to create a brand new Prince of Persia game.
