I get that it's a style thing, but I feel as if your art would look a lot better with outlines. What made me realize this was your avatar picture that has outlines around the hair. Must easier to read and looks a lot nicer imo.

I can see that. These edits are an afterthought and it kind of shows, but I'll keep working on some WIPs with outlines in mind and see how it turns out. The avatar thing was only because otherwise the hair would blend with the heart.


Gonna have to figure out black a bit better, though...

The Hikage one I had them in mind after the first draft, so they clearly belong there a bit better.

And Jaunt is cool because he has an outline except for around his shirt cuz it didn't look amazing.

Your animations are very smooth and nice as always.
For the record, Jaunt is an older piece you're outlining or a newer piece you made, because the anatomy of your more recent pieces show better anatomy in general.

Jaunt was made a day or two ago, and yes, I've been doubling down on anatomy and such recently. This was a custom free hand as opposed to most of my other stuff, though. Aside from the Yang, which took a few drafts and edits from friends, the other RWBY girls and Hikage were mostly traced.

His elbow was a little wonky at first, but I believe that I fixed it so that it's even length with the rest of his arm.

A bunch of minor design changes since I last posted a group shot, the most important of which being that Avon is now a girl because I really loved the Yang design I made and I realized every other girl is varying degrees of smol.
Also, I'm a liar; I'm never going to be pleased with Marion's outfit. Nor with Arin's...

Actually went for a combo this time, based on the fact that the founder of Arcsys said he was interested in a fighting game.

My buddy mentioned that he'd like to see and Alolan Cacturne, so he we are. It's based on traditional Hawaiian dancers and certain Hawaiian cacti.
