Okay, I've heard a few things abut the Tales of- games (mostly after discovering it's where Lloyd came from); Can someone suggest a good entry point in the series? Preferably PS2 era games.

Personally I suggest importing the Tales of games.
But titles to start with are Destiny Directors Cut,Symphonia,Rebirth(REALLY GOOD)Tales of Abyss if you can take terrible characters and broken gameplay.
Avoid Legendia it's great to watch but not very fun to play.

Jeez, you seriously bash Tales games a lot for a fan of them.
Abyss has great characters, albeit a couple do seem pointless, but Presea was pointless in Symphonia and look how popular she is.
The gameplay isn't really broken. If you wanna break it, you need to get every damn skill which takes pretty long.
Being level 200 with all skills =/= broken in my opinion. Vesperia is a different story because you can not stagger by just equipping Last Fencer.

Symphonia is great to start with, as is its sequel because the sequel is inferior. Since you wouldn't have anything to compare the sequel to, it's pretty fun.

I simply bash the ones that are terrible.

You realize that in Vesperia the game is so easily broken because of Estelle+Ovl lvl 4 right?

Xillia is kinda broken too, if you get that skill that allows you to be revived with 100% HP and TP, and spam Elise's auto revive spell.

No one in your party in Xillia is broken and none of the things they have are either.
The only things broken is the retarded bosses they are almost near impossible to fight COUGH Gauis Cough.Just look at the final boss in that game do you think having them recover like 50000 hp in a split second.

Yes it is broken, especially if you play as her and only use that skill. Trust me, i was playing it with a friend, and we was only losing because she was the cpu and she kept trying to fight the boss.

Trust me that isn't broken it isn't game breaking enemys chop your health down faster than you can.

Of course its not game breaking, thats why i said "kinda broken" as in, its almost there. But still, with an auto revive skill, plus the 100% HP/TP revive on all characters, gives you an unfair advantage against most enemies, save for the optional bosses, and the final boss on the harder difficulties.

Don't say it's broken unless it's actually broken then.
I mean that stuff only seems broken early on other than that it really isn't.

But thats only if you play on like Evil or Chaos, whatever the highest difficulty is called, other than that it is broken, because the enemies cant hit as hard.

Something doesnt need to break everything, on every difficulty to be broken.
