Going for 'Up-air > Up-special > Bair' is way more fun than going for 'Up-air > Up-air > Up-air,' ending the combo short, losing out on damage and style.

- How do I DI out of ZSS's fthrow chaingrab? - What's the best way to correctly edgehog/edgeguard her? Everytime she can DJ up-B , then up-B again when I don't have anymore invicibility frames.

1. I think down + away will get you out of the chaingrab, but you have to tech the landing. EDIT: just tested it and I think the chaingrab is guaranteed until 30% or so, at which point you will be sent too far or sent into knockdown. 2. I don't try and edgeguard her atm, downB is invincible & upB is very fast. A well timed edgehog is probably the best way. I think the safest bet is just to pressure edge once she's on it tho.

For ZSS I think you can quickly jump down and back up to the edge if they fake you out by Boost Jumping. Otherwise, just try and read their up-B or react, and roll to stage.

just try to eat her double jump if you can. if not, you're going to have to work a little harder and time your roll for when she's going to upB so that she can't snap

The only buffs ZSS needs to be top tier are better rolls and better looking whip particles.(Although the ones she has now get the job done.)

Three basic scenarios I'm thinking of, similar to Rest punishes:
1. Low percent, no chance of killing, as much damage as possible 2. Med-high percent, some chance of killing, damage + KB is important 3. Up several stocks, just trying to rub it in

You have a couple different options, depends on personal flavor and DI. ZSS isn't really a do-this-in-this-sitation kind of character, she requires a lot of improv.
- Dsmash stuns long enough where you can get a jab in and still be able to grab afterwards. People think I'm being disrespectful when I do this, but in all actuality it's just free damage; why not? One of my newer lab'd staple strings for FFers such as Fox/CF is dsmash -> jab -> grab -> fthrow/uthrow -> dash-boost dtilts (depending on weight class, more dtilts can be possible) -> dash boost upB. You then can follow their DI/tech and continue comboing with something else.
- To be more flashy, you have downB at your disposal too. Dsmash -> downB kick sweetspot will KO most at 0%, but also onstage if the foe doesnt read you and tech it, can lead to a jab reset which is another free dsmash.
- Dsmash -> sideB second hit while holding B will reel opponents back in that aren't sure how DI works, allowing for jab-reset dsmash or just a plain dsmash.
- For a plain KO in a pinch without being fancy, just do dsmash -> fsmash.
- Dsmash -> rar bair works too.
- If you REALLY want to show off against a scrubby opponent or really throw someone off, you can do dsmash into dair and then jab reset them if you time it right and get another dsmash.
- If you are jesus himself, the last and MOST stylish thing you can do is (and believe me this requires the hardest of reads) Dsmash, run past them, grounded reverse upB so that the second two hits connect, then use your frame advantage when they hit the ground to do dtilt -> dsmash.
I've only been able to do a cycle of 2 times in a row, but that allows a potential tech chase-dependent 0-kill-percent combo on a lot of the cast.

Just got a combo with ZSS with people that is un-techable. Do a down smash to stun them, and then do an immediate DAir to force them to enter a lying state, then before they can roll, stun them again and rinse and repeat. It works so far with , and . Have to test out the other characters soon.
