She was meant to be the hard character. She had no Spin Dash or Spin Jump for a reason

Amy had her Piko Piko Hammer in the Sonic Advance series.
The only useful thing it had is that you can gain extra height when you hit a Spring with the hammer.

No. It should stay just as modern sonic and classic sonic... That is all...
And i would never add tails to a game like this... Im not in the mood for cutscenes where he complains about technology...

He definitely will complain about it since they're going through time. He'll probably make a time portal and then explain how it works, using a bunch of made up words. (like in that scene from Sonic Riders).
