This seems plausable, although if it were the case, it wouldn't bring attention to just BB. Myself, Dephius, BB, and I believe Terra all disagreed that the mafia would use the "eye for an eye" trick. It seems like the mafia may have killed off Tid to make us four seem more scummy.

It's interesting that they chose to off Tid, even though people were disagreeing with him. I mean, like, I suppose if a player is thought of by the majority as presenting unsound strategic discussion, it makes them look more suspicious, no?
