I was gonna say the 3ds will still have the portability advantage, but....

also, the mechanics are always different between entries, so we might have a melee type situation on our hands with sm4sh

people will still play it. people still play brawl

it will never be anything like melee. it'd need to actually be fun to watch for that to happen

Speaking as a casual who never has friends around to play with, Brawl had Subspace which automatically makes it the best Smash game.

A potential story/adventure mode was one of my biggest hypes about SSF2 at some point. We're probably not getting that now, but there's plenty of other things to hype about ( and Waluigi for example).

^ though the 3DS Sm4sh has a lot of fun single player modes too, shame the Wii U version had the board game.. hated the board game.

^Smash Run was pretty cool but extremely retarded at the same time due to it being the only way of playing Break the Targets or having a HP Smash battle

I feel like Smash Run was a massive amalgamation of things that should've and would've been in Smash 4 separately had the 3DS not been limited in its hardware
