i think this is what i'll do:
show him the trailer, then show him the site and tell him these are the only characters with one extra
show him that, and say that's all there will be and the site hadn't updated yet (they did the same with Brawl after all and i could just bring that up)
then i'll likely tell him something like no multiplayer on the 3DS versions

I've done some walking today (got some groceries, went to the Best Buy thing), and mine says 3500 right now. So maybe after 20,000 steps, so you'd have to do it several days. It'd subtly encourage people to get off their asses while also promoting Streetpass features and giving some play coins which will inevitably be used in SSB4.

Or you could just play 20,000 vs matches

PEOPLE jeez I didn't saw that to make them rush through the game. I was just sating that because we have waited for a long time and it should be released sooner. It didn't know that it takes that long to make a smash game. Jeez some people are just mean.

Brawl has been in progress from late 2005 to early 2008. The game was released first in Japan on late January 2008 (basically around two and a half years).

SSB 3DS/WiiU, according to Sakurai, began it's development at June 2012. Waiting for the 2014 release is just as waiting for Brawl's... So stop complaining and do some research next time.
