That's right, I've been inspired to make an RP by what I hope actually ends up happening.

It's a post-apocalyptic RP, taking place 2 months after a pandemic virus turned 99% of the world's population into shambling, nocturnal zombies. However, unlike other zombie apocalypse RPs, this one doesn't revolve around killing zombies and staying alive through impossible odds, this revolves around life at a survivor colony, taking place a day at a time. You will have to build barriers, gather supplies, and use your wits (as far as zombie fighting goes, there won't actually be that much) to survive each day at the colony.

That being said, there are still a few things up in the air that I need help deciding.

The biggest issue is where it will take place. I have 3 colony types in mind:

- Skyfortress: In New York City, a group of survivors has retreated to the rooftops of several residential skyscrapers, interconnecting the penthouses of the buildings via zip lines and bridges. This colony is extremely safe from zombies, and has about 800 residents. However, gathering supplies is extremely hard because of the huge amount of zombies below.

- A New Hope: Named after both the Star Wars movie and the fact that it's a New Hope for the world, this colony is located in suburban southern New York, and is about 45 minutes North of the city. There are about 50 people living there. They turned one boy's property into a small scale functioning community, as well as gathering supplies from the other derelict houses in the neighborhood. Unlike the other colonies, they have an electric windmill on property, allowing the advantage of lights, running water, and refrigeration. The threat of zombies is moderate, but the barriers are ready for anything.

- Far Reach: In the Adirondacks of Northern New York, 34 people have gathered in a large area and created a working farm, growing all their own supplies. They have livestock as well (the virus only hit humans), and the threat of zombies is almost nothing. Unfortunately, other supplies are hard to gather.

Regardless of which one is chosen for us, all 3 will exist, and have knowledge of the other colonies' existance. There is radio communication between them, and a few people will go between them.

I probably won't join this, the idea seems good, but I can't see it being that great once you actually start RPing in it.

This is like the one I made, minus the traveling and the fighting, and adding way more tedious jobs to do.

I like this idea, but it WOULD be rather difficult to RP.

I know your trying to be creative, but couldn't you just make one where you fight the zombies?

I guess I'll restructure Science Heroes to be catchier, so it doesn't flop hard again... Everyone will have to make new characters, though.
