i have been playing the same games for over 12 YEARS.
i simply CANNOT CONTINUE.

no matter how many times i tell my parents i'm fed up, all they say is "you already have enough games".

if we are going through numbers, then yes, i have a respectable colection of 22 games, most of them being the best ones ever.
but they simply cant understand one simple thing.

games are like very good books.
you read them once, and you love them.
you read them again, and you like them even more.
but you probably will not read it more than 5 times.
and you deffinitely will no read it 12 years in a row. why?

because, no matter how good of a book it is, IT GETS SO FREAKING BORING after you read all of it.

i currently have a PS2 and an original first version of the XBOX (not the 360 - the previous one).
i am NOT selling any, because nobody wants to buy them.

i want, on the other hand, to BUY a new gaming platform...


and i dont kn ow what to choose.

should i get a PS3? and enjoy it while it lasts?
should i ruin my savings and get a PS4? and have it last a bit longer but eventualy drop it?
should i absolutely destroy my savings on a massive computer and slowly update it with time, playing hacked free copies of high-end games? (at least the cost would be reduced.)

^, especially when the Steam Summer Sales start happening. Loads of games end up cheap as hell. I don't know how powerful the computer you're using is, but there are still a handful of good games you can play with a decent-tier laptop (mainly indie games and Source)

If you'd rather go the console route, get a PS3 over PS4. 4 isn't backwards compatible and has basically nothing worth getting on it right now, whereas 3 has a back-library of like 7 or 8 years now. The earlier games will be cheap as hell (although maybe not Steam cheap)

I really suggest you getting a computer, too. Steam has tons of good and cheap games, and expect to see some surprises from it, like good games that are free for some weeks (LFD2, for example). It has games for all the tastes and kinds, most of them are online, and such. It's your decision, anyway

what are your specs? most valve releases are tailor made to run on common hardware, so you'd have to be using a toaster from 1996 if not even counter strike will work

Im Trying to look for a new game for me and some of my friends to play because League is pissing them off so can anyone think of anything thats not a MMO grind-fest like maplestory.

what would be your recomendations for a low end PC? a VERY low end one, the most intheresting game i can play decently is Unreal Tournament 2004 and respective mods. anything that uses Source Engine or other later engines woun't do.

any game goes. i like fps, MMO, RTS, RPG, anything.
