recolors (even though you said there probably wouldn't be)
combos
new stage designs
even more flashy effects
damage counter redesign
the things that show a character when they go off screen have been redesigned as well
overall awesomeness

I commend you devs for doing the impossible!

And you are still missing stuff in the video~

what is there to miss other than the review of 0.9 progress or what was in the video?

The new HUD. Which I was probably the only person that thought that was the coolest part.

Well, he [Goombrio 64] did mention about the HUD or damage counter, I'm neutral with its design, but I'm sure they won't be that pale grey color with human players, the will "shine" with a colorful box when this happens.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but to the dev who was in charge of making Yoshi's Island not s***: Thank you so much. That stage was so damn unprofessional in 0.8; it looks much more interesting now. Nice work.

You're welcome
all of the stage modifications demo'd in the video were by me~

Why did you say "hell no" Ramsey, is it because
you came up with the damage percentage counter.
Don't worry, I still like you as a dev Ramsey 'bro. :)

Tails has shorter, faster jumps.
Gameplay is generally faster (did you guys increase the framerate?)
Fox jumps higher to compensate for his higher personal gravity
Tails's NSpec is faster
Tails's Nair is smoother
Tails's Dair comes out faster
Tails's Fthrow is weaker (?)
Trajectories are more arc-like
Fox did a double shine (wtf how)
not once did i see laser spam
stage layouts for jungle hijinx, ssz, and yoshi's island look way better
also guys those really just look like tints to me
unless they found an effective way to palette swap ingame
i really doubt the dev team would have had the time to manually recolor over 100 frames of animation for each character three times (one time for each team color)
do RGBA channels exist in flash? maybe they just took out the red channel to make a blue tails
EDIT: oh yeah techs look a LOT faster

I wonder what level are these CPU's?
If that's level 9 then this should be interesting.
If that's level 1, then i'm scared.

Ugh, why did you redesign Sky Sanctuary.... it's not even the same area anymore. Where are the falling blocks? Where are the bouncing clouds? WHERE IS THE MOVING PLATFORM? You guys make terrible design choices when I'm gone... it's like you're removing anything non-competitive.

Yoshi's Island looks good, though. Not happy about Jungle Hijinx but I already saw that.

I bet it's level nine..
Also since these are re-colors, does this mean you can turn Ness into Lucas? (By changing hair and clothes) :wee:
Or Sora into Riku?
Or Goku into Vegeta?
Or Mario into Luigi?
Or Peach into Diasy?
Or Link into Dark Link?
Or Sonic into Shadow?
Or Fox into Falco?
They might have the same moveset but it'll still be cool. :D
...
...
I'm pretty sure these are impossible since you have to sprite every single frame again...

If they had to do that for recolors we wouldn't have a blue Tails to begin with.

Falling blocks are on the sides of the stage and the moving platform is in the background. No bouncing clouds.

Sky Sanctuary was a mess before lmao don't even front. it wasn't fun to play on even when you're just goofing around because its so difficult to get on the top part (especially when someones already up there trying to keep you down)

Did you really come here just to talk negative about SSF2, Tid worked really hard. Also, the game looks way better now.

I really liked the old Sky Sanctuary Zone but the new one looks a bit better. The clouds used to be a little annoying but I guess that problem is solved now. And for the DK level- It actually looks pretty nice and maybe better than the old one.
The damage counter looks sweet! :D
And the 'thing' that shows a character who is off-screen looks really cool to me. I think i've seen it somewhere...
But v.09 is gonna be a big hit.
AND THERE BETTER BE AN ONLINE MODE! :wee:

This post is an example of one of the reasons why I stopped visiting the SSF2 Section. It was just an opinion dude. Calm your a**.
