Maybe he calls it the No.1 because in most latinamerican anime-watching websites, Naruto Shippuden is both the most watched and the most liked anime in the whole page. The only webpages were NS isn't the No.1 are the ones that don't have it.
I recall that in an american webpage called "Crunchyroll" that specializes in the broadcast of japanesse media, both animated and live-action, Naruto Shippuden is the most liked anime there too.
The same can be said about the manga, I don't know in other continents, but here in latinamerica, you will never find a more popular and No.1 called manga than Naruto.
In latinamerica of course.

One Piece is certainly the most popular/best selling in japan, but i'd think Naruto would be a contender for most popular manga world wide.

On account of that terrible One Piece dub, One Piece isn't nearly as popular as Naruto is in America. (Although One Piece just made it back on Toonami, so hopefully that will change).

So true, if you ever pay a visit to Center America, I guarantee that you will find groups o kids, teens, and even adults making hand signs, running like ninjas, and occasionally screaming "RASENGAN!" while hitting others with the open palm in almost every street. Almost every.

Anyway, I hope we will see some of Yamato's backstory in the next chapters.

To be totally honest, I hope Naruto ans Sasuke don't survive. They're both annoying. lolol then the manga shall be renamed Shino, as he is clearly the most important character in the show after Naruto.

So I'm really enjoying this filler arc. We get to learn more about Kakashi (the coolest character in the series obv)

I think it's interesting that we get to see more of the relationships Kakashi had with other characters, like Danzo and the Third. They seem much closer now than I ever previously though.

Also we got to see Kakashi's first interactions with Yamato, and i'm sure there will be more in the next episode.

Lastly, we get an episode on when Orochimaru goes rouge, and Hiruzen tries to capture him. Previously we only learned about this through dialogue during the Chunin exams, and really quick flashbacks, now we'll learn the whole story.

I'm enjoying the filler too. I only have one little doubt:
At the beggining of this topic you said that the previous Naruto Shippuden topic was ereased. If you can recall, and if you don't mind, could you or any senior user of this forum let my know why was it ereased?

Yay! Yamato's backstory. I knew we would see it.

I won't/can't really review Yamato's backstory until we see the entire thing, but it seems interesting so far. I'm a bit confused though.

Also I'm not sure how I feel about getting his backstory through a filler episode, although I suppose it's better than nothing. I wonder if Kishimoto has anything to do with fillers like these.

I doubt he does, but if I recall correctly, one of the swords of the "Seven Swordsmen of The Mist" was introduced on a pre-Shippuden filler arc.
It wasn't until several years later that the double ligthing sword "Kiba" appeared on the manga, exactly how it looked on the filler.
It looks like "the filler inspirated on the manga" can sometimes be vice-versa.
