And you didn't say you were good, you said you were "probably the most knowledgable", but if you wanna combine the two, you're saying that you're "probably the best". With a claim like that, debating would be silly! Let's just default all possible debates to your opinion, which is somehow not just better but actually 'the best', and carry on with our lives, kay?

Whether you choose to believe it or not, I am as well. I am quite an argumentative person in real life, and over the years of countless arguments, both pointless and key, have gotten pretty damn good at it.
I am able to see and admit when my opposer is right, but certainly never do so unless I truly believe that that's the case. I am able to support my case with evidence, and use it to explicitly refute the central point of theirs.
I'm not blind to the kind of person a good deal of my posts imply me to be, and if you want to believe that this is my desperate attempt to rectify that, so be it.
But seriously? Believe what you like. It doesn't affect me either way.
Oh, and did I mention? I'm an egotistical f***, as well, but I like to keep it on the inside and not throw my opinions on myself in other people's faces. Albeit I'm doing it in this post, but seeing as you went for the personal comment, telling me I couldn't hold an argument, I feel it's at least a little bit relevant.

The thing is, you guys are actually debating on something and since it's humain nature to debate, I think a section won't be so bad. I think.

Debating takes mental finesse.

Just figured I'd stop by real quick. I've been monitoring this topic a bit and I haven't come to a conclusion yet, but this is probably the third time this type of section has been requested since we got rid of the Logical Discussion back in the day.

I'll be discussing this with the moderators and I can't make any promises, but there does seem to be a lot demand for it so we'll see what happens

My thought is that it didn't work in the end before, so why would it be any better now?

Because the community has greatly evolved in maturity since LD. (Asides from a select few)

Actually, overall, it really hasn't.
But if it were to be closely moderated, and ground-rules were clear, it could work.
