I'm actually surprised to not see a topic about this. I'm probably going to get this game in a week or two so yeah. Is it good?

Would highly recommend playing this game mulitplayer, its more fun that way. Yeah this game is great, definitely a must have if you like Kirby games.

^ This.

And I can't imagine why anyone would want to play it single-player.
Multiplayer is way more fun than single-player.

I played it in multiplayer with siblings.

(after spending ten minutes pondering what to say about it...)

It was awesome.

Actually genuinely such a fantastic game. Was so pleasantly surprised.
Every single ability hat you can get has a great range of cool moves you can do, and there's tonnes to pick from. All the hits feel and sound really solid in classic Sakurai style. Meta Knight, Dedede and Bandanna Dee are all really fun and don't at all feel like reskins of each other. The game just in general looks really pretty, especially for a Wii title.
I honestly could go on and on about all the things that make this game really really solid.

Massive Kirby fan here: It's one of the best games on the Wii, without a doubt. Really great stuff. Absolutely makes up for Epic Yarn.

Couldn't have said it better than Tid.

The only real problem I had with the game was that multiplayer seems to focus too much on the lead Kirby. I can understand the need to keep at least one player as Kirby, but it still bothered me.

I don't really see it as an issue. The game is designed to force the player to make use of all the abilities to solve certain puzzles.

Though you could also see why people are bothered by the fact that they HAVE to play as Kirby if they are Player 1. Kirby is the only character who cant permanently have an ability, he is also the only character that cannot attack bosses without an ability or projectile from a boss or something. Actually this same kind of problem was in NSMBWii (forcing player 1 to be Mario), but that is another story...

Regardless of this, its still very fun to play as Kirby as well as the other characters, no character is ulitmately better than another (at least thats how i feel) so it comes down to personal taste.
