i learned that in general chorus sucks.
their performances suck and so do their songs.
this is coming from someone who used to be in chorus. we once sang don't stop believin' but when we sang it nobody was there
i don't blame them

on a side note i didn't go to school today because i live life on the edge

im almost 99% sure mcdonalds gave me a stomach virus today

take a few bytes of AVG or something

today i ate at a local "seafood" place

i put seafood in quotations because while they claim to be a seafood place, and all of there decorations point to a seafood theme, they actually serve a very wide variety of foods and i got a good old fashioned cheeseburger

one of the decorations in question is a fish tank that sits very high up in the restaurant, on a dividing wall over a few of the tables. the only seat that was open when we came in was directly underneath this particular tank, so that's where we sat

i ordered and ate about half my meal with no problem until i realized i was occasionally getting hit with tiny drops of water from the tank

while i can't say for sure if any got in my food or not, i decided to finish my burger anyway and just hope i don't have crippling stomach pains of some kind in the morning

Mmmm, burgers and sandwiches are my favorite food. Hope you don't get ill Termin.

I had only Art History today for class. . . And fell asleep in it. . . Again. . . Kcuf. One second, we're learning about Egypt. The next second, 20 minutes go by. I just don't get my sleep habits at all.

If I go to bed early like at 10 PM, I'll sleep-in (have to get up around 6 AM) and fall asleep later in class.

If I go to bed at 2-3 AM, I end up waking up early and I stay up throughout the day on only 3-4 hours rest somehow. Once I get home around 4 PM though, I drop dead in my bed and sleep through the night, not having time for homework.

So, it's 1 AM now; probably will go to bed with the hour. . .

the US government shutdown today (well, as of 12AM)
and to be honest, i don't really care as much as i think i should

but as long as me, my anime, and video games aren't affected, i'm fine with that

It's happened before, so says my old as dirt lit professor

I don't really know what it means to be honest

It means things like getting a passport and loan applications become incredibly difficult

To be honest, I'm surprised this didn't happen earlier. Both political sides are always trying to use the threat of a shutdown for political gain.


Granted, both political sides are terrifyingly bad, so it's not like they would do something to actually benefit the country.

I guess it would, huh

I'm sure I'll hear about it on campus then soon enough

that doesn't affect grant applications, does it? cause if so, then now it's my problem

maybe i should move to another country while i still have the chance, this government is looking pretty terrible right about now

Me and Kevin discovered we're true buds

I presented a speech about marriage equality today. Not many people had any comments. Though some people said I did a good job and one girl even thanked me and I was like wow your welcome. I also made up a math test I missed.

Today my uni announced their second free-for-students concert of the year: Wiz Khalifa

The first one was 3oh3

I mean come on. I'm not expecting death grapes or whatever but since some of my tuition money is going into these concerts i'd like them to at least be tolerable

I am not an unreasonable man, I could deal with awolnation or macklemore or whatever. But come on seriously jesus christ
