I dunno, I felt Reality Shift was really limited and broke up the fast fighting phase (it was just kind of redudant so far, in my opinion). I was hoping it would be more like the Reaction Command of KH2. That's just me though.

Actually I can see where your coming from. I never really used Reality Shift during my play of the demo because it just seemed to take away from the fights. The cat ally's combo move was kinda the same with me. Plus the actual circumstances for using Reality Shift are just not something that one simply distills into reaction.

Combo moves are different with Sora and Riku, too!
Sora rides the Dream Eaters (which are like summons from KH and KHII) and Riku 'absorbs' them and he has a different moveset, similar to using command styles from BBS.
It's pretty good that they both have separate combos with the Dream Eaters.
Nightmare Ventus Armor using shotlock against you is pretty cool, too

Exactly. It appears for like, 2 seconds or so. Usually when you can finish the enemy with a swing of the keyblade anyway. The demo does state that 'Reality Shift' works different in each world, so I hope other worlds have better Realifty Shifting.

Reality Shift works differently in all environments and against different enemies. The demo only let you use one form of reality shift, which is why it felt so awkward and limited.
