I know that, but when the roster was overhauled back in 2010, the Devs could have reinstated InuYasha, Mr. Incredible, Young Link, or Mega Man X. So there is a possible chance he could make an appearance as an unlockable.

Now I get it, they disconfirmed quite a few characters. Anyways, I think Villager will make some sort of an appearance in the game in v1.0 or Beta.

Lmaooo. Shrek in SSF2 would be like having John Cena in here. While I love the Shrek movies, he would never be a contender for this game in my opinion, you never know who the Devs will include in the game leading up to the unlockables...

I think it would be neat if the devs surprised us and added Edward Elric or Yugi to the game. Those two are up their with the anime greats, and would be a lot more unexpected (IMO).
