Even XII and X-2? (And Mystic Quest like Kuro said, >_<)

Anyway, like THoT said the first FFs are good, but they had it's pros and cons. I can tell considering my experience with them:

FF I it's the first game, it doesn't has all the complexity that FF has these days, but besides the no character development, it gives you a clear goal to understand for follow the game.

FFII Has a cool story, but weapon and magic level up system NEEDS you to do ALOT of griding, even more considering the difficult of the game (much more from the first FF)

FFIV it's very iconic and very fast to pick up with a system easy to understand more than the others Final Fantasies, has a great character development and a catchy story. it's a great game, but not as FFVI and FFVII.

FFV it's a good game, but i feel it was a steb back behind FF IV in therms of character development and story-wise

FFVI: Definetly the best one of the classic FFs, the story is incredible, the characters are incredible (with alot to pick up), the griding system it's cool as well, ALOT of side quests. It's a must play for those who likes RPGs

And that's all, i don't have an opinion about FFIII because i still not play it, :S

HARDCORE PRO OBJECTIVE RANKING:

VIII > VI > IV > VII > IX > X > V > XII > III > I > II > XIII

I completely understand that VIII is love or hate, please don't argue with me about it

I would swap VII and IX around, but otherwise, I agree with this list.

I think I'd like IX more if the battle speed was faster

Yeah, thats understandable. Though in reality my opinion of IX being better than VII is ridiculous even to me. VII loses points for having a ridiculous amount of glitches, and one of them can potentially corrupt your memory card (at least from what I heard)

One of the only things keeping me from playing the game again. Otherwise, its great. Ridiculous I know, but I dont like games that have risks like that, unless they're avoidable, and as far as I know, that particular bug is random (again at least from what I heard).

One other reason that IX is better than VII in my opinion is that IX isnt riddled with overpowered multihit attacks, regardless of how difficult/time consuming it is to get them.

I've played through VII like a million times, no game breaking or even relatively small glitches have ever occured iirc. Don't let that stop you from enjoying the game.

Yeah, i guess maybe its time to give it another try. Though I do know of two glitches that can make the game completely unwinnable. Though you have to trigger them yourself, though if you didnt know of them you could trigger them by accident.

Heres the two im talking about
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Diam ... pon_Glitch
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Save_Crystal_Glitch

The first im not worried about, i just put that there so you could see that there are major bugs. The second is the one that worries me, i'd hate to get through the whole game just for the game to become unwinnable at the end.

I will consider playing the game again though. I guess that memory card corruption thing must've been something else, as that was my top worry.

Trying a little harder to play FF7 now, enjoying it.
Only problem I'm having is some areas are hard to navigate as I can't tell where I can and can't walk, but this isn't everywhere.
