For tie-breakers maybe just create another poll lasting a quarter to half a day featuring only those nominees that are tied. I say a quarter or half a day because it will give people less time to vote and thus only those that vote quickly will be counted. Any longer and it would be pointless as the candidates would most likely just be tied again.
As for Round 3's choices...dang, they're all pretty good. It's either 2 or 3 for me on this one, but I think I'll go with 2... EDIT: I'm also in favor of Void's suggestion below. It would make the competition later on much more intense, and yeah, those that placed second deserve recognition too. _________________

well I meant from the first round too
like I'm pretty sure either of those posts would have taken this group so its kinda a shame to see one of them knocked out early (same thing with having semis groups but maybe that's worth it for potential exciting 1v1 finals) |

thats true we havent moved onto the next stage yet so we could retroactively have r1 and r2's second places make it through. i am in favor of this.
