Leon started to laugh as he finished the treating the wound.

"Despite the s*** you put us through, i'm willing to tag along with ja." He stopped for a moment and caught his breath. "You know something....I think I...forgot how exausted I was." Leon said realizing how much he ached and how sore he was and fell back. "Can I head back to that bed or something." He asked jokingly.

The bandits quickly approached and drew all their weapons. They would be there in less then fifteen seconds. Lot drew his sword and examined the enemies.

"Let's hope we can take em. Lest the old man get's involved a'gain."

Eton remained quiet and approached Serene. He didn't have much to say. "Serene...." He said. He wasn't sure what else to say. "You ok?"

Serene kept her head turned away. She wasn't enjoying the day, too much bad luck. She continued rubbing her face. She felt the scab that formed over the wound. "I'm fine." she softly muttered, keeping quiet after that. She was still backing away, not stopping until she struck the side of the inn, where she slumped down, rubbing her face.

J chuckled at the soon to ensue battle before him. Holding the mallet with his famous tight grip, he let out a roar. "Let's see what you chumps got!" He walked quickly, showing his strength in his simple stride. He readied his mallet. "three...two...one..." his muscles pulsed as he began. "ZERO!" He swung the mallet straight towards all the bandits just as they reached the correct distance.

Violet had to restrain herself from checking to see what was so cute about her but, and Lex's words did not make her feel any better, she could have told herself that her hair was going to grow back, she touched her hair self consciously, she hoped it would grow back quickly. She was surprised slightly at how quickly Leon was to forgive Lex, he truly was a loyal friend. "But what about you, Adélaïde? Aren't you going to be come with us too?" she asked.

Anna's eyes twitched she felt the warmth of the sunlight on her face. She sat up in bed and looked around, how had she gotten back to her room she pondered. She vaguely remembered her fainting, and began to blush, her face a bright red, she hoped she hadn't been too much an inconvenience to Tania and her friends. She began to worry about Tekun as well, had he fainted? She looked down at her bedside table, her gold rimmed spectacles shining in the afternoon light. She picked them up and put them on. Blinking as her eyes adjusted, she looked out the window of her room and the spectacles homed in on the battlefield that she had just left. She saw graves of the dead who had fought valiantly today, she shook her head sadly and raised her hands to the sky in prayer. "May the Light protect your souls" she whispered into the wind solemnly. She returned to her bed, still feeling slightly tired, but stayed sitting up, armed with a book in one hand.

Tania shook her head, there was no helping that girl anymore. Serene was all in all a total nutcase, she may have gone through emotional trauma and all but it was still no excuse for her behaviour, she behaved like a mongrel, a barbarian. Eton arrived, looking like he had just woken up, the boy went to console his love. She barely suppressed a need to say "Aww" but she watched on, she glanced sideways at Rana, with a slight smile. That's when she suddenly remembered she had to get Windy cleaned up, she exited the inn, only to find Windy as clean as she had been before their entire adventure, a servant was just placing a daisy in her mane. "Oh thank you" said Tania gratefully.

"No probl'm mi lady" said the servant bowing and stepping away "Complem'nts from the innkeepah. Says tanks fer fight'n that there beastie" she returned to the inn, with a large basket in her arms. Windy clopped over to Tania's side and neighed cheerily before returning to an apple she had received earlier. Tania patted the pegasus's back contentedly.

Eton stopped where he stood.

"Your sure?" Eton asked. "If your worried i'm angry with you, i'm not." Etion crossed his arms and sighed slightly, giving a slight grin. He knew what had probably happened, he didn't like it, but he felt he shouldn't say something about it.

There was a loud sickening crack as one bandit fell to the ground, bleeding prefurselly from the skull as he hit the ground, dead on impact. The other remaining ones began to charge Lot who had taken a defensive posistion.

"Alright!" Lot shouted. "Let's go!"

Tekun walked away without saying a word and headed upstairs. He decided he'd check up on Anna. He approached her door and knocked on it.

Adélaïde touched Violet's cheek and staring into her eyes. "Le son est magnifique... I would love to travel with you, but... staying would be so, how you say, cliché. I do not know..."

Lex perked up and began looking around wildly. He paced the walls eagerly, ignoring the pain in his leg. After about 20 turn-arounds and several meaningless leaps, he licked his finger and stuck it high in the air. He twisted it around as if he were mixing a giant bowl of pudding. "Center the objects, strafe the corridors, turnbuckles and centrifuges..." He spoke utter nonsense. Suddenly, he yelped and fell to the floor. His limbs swam around on the carpet, kicking up small billows of dust and accomplishing nothing in particular. The dust then settled, only to be thrown back into the air and repeat the process. Lex was insane, there was no doubt about it, though Adélaïde and Violet's touching scene didn't seem to be disrupted by it.

"Well...I was hoping that maybe you'd be able to help me become a better bard....I only know two spells morale and trick" she murmured the latter sentence softly and looked down at her feet feeling embarrassed and pathetic before the great bard whom she had insulted earlier. The wind was now barely a whisper, still floating quietly among the rafters but it was now thinning and sifting through the cracks away from the enclosure of the inn and back into the freedom of the sky.

Anna heard the soft knock on her door and got up out of her bed once again. She attempted to open the door but the door was locked, she began to panic slightly worrying about being locked inside the room for hours, until she caught the sight of the key that Tania had left inside the room. She breathed a sigh of relief and unlocked the door, she opened it slightly to peek out and see who was knocking. It was Tekun. "H-Hello Tekun" she said shyly.

Serene looked towards the ground at her feet. "Eton, I guess I do need to tell you something in private." she said softly. "It's kinda been on my mind for a while, and I just need to get it out." When the time did come, she wondered how she would state it, not to sound too forward when she did.

"Oh, running away eh?!" J shouted unleashing a roaring laugh. "COME ON! Fight like a man!" He ran right after one of them, catching up quickly despite his size. He was running on pure adrenaline at the moment, not having seen action in the last couple of months. He reached out for the bandit's neck, hoping to seize him and do his dirty work.

Leon ignored Lex's erratic impulsive behavior and payed attention to the french lady and violet. "She could use a mentor, your obviously very skilled in what you do.

"Ah your up, everything alright, you feeling ok?" Tekun asked Anna. "You fainted almost immedietly after the battle. You still look a little, paleish I guess you could say." He stood there looking at her waiting for a response.

Eton looked at Serene and signaled her to follow him into the next room where nobody was, she followed, when he made sure no one was around he asked it. "What's on your mind?" He asked her.

The enemies began their attack on Lot, who was taking heavy damage and getting beaten pretty badly. He managed to swing his blade and decapitate one. Another was grabbed by the throat by J. In a desperate attempt to free himself, he stabbed Jay in the leg, hoping he would release his grip.

A man approached Rana, he was drapped in a cloak, his face unsee able. He gave off no aura as well and had no sense, it was as if he was a ghost of some sort. "I wish to have a word with you."

Serene looked at him, unsure of how to put it. "Eton" she began, but losing her thought. She turned her head down again. "I j-just ne-need to a-ask yo-you..." she continued, stumbled along. She couldn't understand why it was so hard for her to do. She breathed in deeply, calming her nerves. She stared into his eyes once again. "I want to be one with you...you know...sexually..." she unknowingly reached out for his hand, fondling it.

J barely winced at the stabbing. "Desperate eh?" he began to ask. "Well, then I guess I won't crush your head with the mallet..." He dropped the weapon as he said it. A sneer formed upon his face and he muttered one final thing, "Goodnight" With his last remark, he tightened his grip upon the bandit, listening to the crunching of his bones. "Men like you make me sick. You constantly take away the things that people need to live, for your own gain..."

Anna blushed again, feeling embarrassed about fainting. "Yes...I'm sorry about that...I'm not used to all that fighting and exerting myself" she said softly. She looked down at her feet "Um..how are you? Have you gotten any rest since I...fainted?" she asked, worrying that she might be keeping the boy up even though he was tired. She didn't want to cause any trouble.

Rana glanced up. He had sat himself down to think and was wringing his hands almost violently. "What is it?" He asked quietly. There was nothing particular about the man, Rana noted. No signature energy, no intrusive aura, and his mind was tucked away neatly so that Rana would need to search to find it.

"I have seen the future, and what it holds." The man said. "Bewarned, it's not a pleseant one. War will break out, and one by one, each nation will be consumed. A dark force is at work behind it all. The black flames of war will be lit once more upon the hill of swords. It would appear you and your group are the ones destined to stop it."

"Nope." Tekun replied casually, he was tired as hell, but refused to show it, but there was clearly stress in his eyes. It was amazing he was able to keep such a kind and energetic demenore.

The old man looked at the last bandit and pointed a finger at him while he held a tome in his other hand.

"Bang." He shouted angrily at the bandit. releasing a beam of intense light magic from it, piercing and killing the bandit on the spot. "Your taking too long." he said looking at J holding the bandit with the broken neck, whom was alive yet, but was limp.

Eton was shocked to say the least, his eyes widened, but other then that he did not show much else. He felt Serene feeling his hand. Right after this situation, it was awkward to say the least. "You mean..." He stopped and closed his eyes and sighed. "You bring this up after that incident, well you got a thing for timing that's sure." He chuckled slightly. He didn't see anything, but he wrapped his arm around Serene and brought her close to him.

Rana took a deep breath. "War has been twisting its way through this land for a long time..." Rana tilted his head. He crossed his legs and hugged them, looking like a child in his chair. "And you think you can see the future? Who are you?" Rana muttered.

"No one important Arson." The man replied. "All things before me pass, the present, the past and the future. All at once. Yet I do nothing but observe. Destiny tells me to warn you. In doing this, I begin a reaction. One that will lead to this continent's fate. War has always existed. Never has it been manipulated in such a fashion before. Be warned. Tell your allies. If nothing is done, there will be nothing left."

Rana lowered his gaze to the man's hands. "You contradict. If you see all... You would not be indefinate." Rana twitched as he spoke. "You would say, do this and it will be prevented. But you know what I am." Rana squinted. "And yet, your hints at desparity are meaningless. Either you do not know all or you would not speak to me; if our efforts harbor no fruit, you would not bother."
