Yeah, Nintendo has a history of pissing off their fanbase when it comes to user-created content.

Trying to prevent it will only bury Cleod in deeper trouble, and won't work because you can't even count the number of sites on which SSF1 is posted on two hands.

...If you do add donations (and Nintendo are pricks like Apple) Nintendo could order a sees and desist, if you don't they could sue (hell Apple did it to a F*CKING DOCK FOR WINDOWS!)...Any way you look at it, if they don't like it, it IS THEIR content, and they CAN sue over it.

Well, not in so many words, as Cleod isn't profiting directly from it through ways of merchandise or pay2play content.

i dont think nintendo is that cruel cleod already put so much effort into it and so many are following him with it.
also kfire probably the reason they closed down syntax error is because its based on hack,hacks are illegal and nintendo probably didnt want their reputation ruined by allowing it.(although it did piss me of)

If I decide to add Paypal in the nearby future it will be my own decision, and should Nintendo shut us down I doubt it will be just because of the Paypal button, so let's not worry about it.
