Snow felt the painful tearing sensation as the hooks penetrated and ripped his flesh.
However not one to let himself die so easily, he let out a burst of freezing cold energy, causing the air to chill everywhere around him for about a 30 foot radius.

The ground below him began to freeze, and travel towards Antoinne, where it to touch his feet, he would instanly be frozen to the ground.

Snow's pain grew more and more with each passing second as the tearing continued, he knew that he couldn't resist it for very much longer.

He released then another burst of energy, this one destructive towards all material, including biological material.

((Funny how you suddenly seem to change your mind and make excuses once Belth is mentioned. I digress. Let us go back to business.))

His victim stood still? HAH! What a fool; to resist the bite of the centipede was to harm oneself even further. The blood slicked the ends of hooks and some even started to moisten the dry desert sands as they traversed back to Antoinne to form the staff once more. Even through his blood lust, he could see the frost suddenly emerging, freezing the blood as it left Snow. One part of his brain told him to retreat, the other screamed at him that retreating now without finishing was a bad idea. This indecision saw him rooted in place by the frost and some of it even started to traverse his leg, giving him the chills.

The sections snapped back together with a loud "shack" sound right then but by now, Antoinne felt another sensation. It was as if something gnawed away at him. Every pain receptor within line of sight of Snow sent off waves of pain and Antoinne started to think that either this was some kind of phantasmal illusion or that this was Hadou, something he could barely recall now.

It was as if it had happened in slow motion, she turned to watch as the man's life was about to be taken away violently, blood and feathers were scattered around the area. In the blink of an eye a ring of cold energy expanded from the man, personally, she felt nothing of it, for the sun was up and her powers were at her strongest, her magical heat would forever keep her warm. The ring of coldness passed her by without so much as a shiver.

Then, she saw the energy blast a wave of power emanated from the very core of the man. One of her eyebrows raised amusingly. "It appears fate's wheels turn once again" she said "Alright Corona, you can play now." The butterfly, fluttered above Alayna's head flying around twice in a motion of joy before flying to another height of elevation away from the girl who stood patiently waiting for her companion. Solid ribbons of golden sunlight began to flow about the butterfly in a circular motion as it flew in place waiting. Eventually the light effectively closed upon the butterfly, sealing it in a cocoon of light which slowly began to expand. Alayna stepped away from the cocoon, which had rapidly grown to a large size, and the cocoon burst open with a bright flash of light, showering a small area with sparkles of golden light.

Landing gracefully as she floated to the ground, Alayna walked towards Corona proudly. Her transformation had been completed once again, the small golden winged butterfly was now a proud lioness. Her golden fur blew, majestically in the wind, each of her legs toned with firm muscles. Each of her paws baring sharp claws capable of ravaging the bravest of warriors. Her tail long and elegant swayed back and forth as she purred happily. On her back stood grand golden butterfly wings both with designs resembling suns on each of them in perfect symmetry.

"Daughter of the sun, let us finish what we have begun" purred Corona.

"Alright then" said Alayna spinning her staff eagerly. She dashed forward, while Corona padded behind her on silent feet, when she felt they were in striking distance, Alayna conjured a ball of intense fire, emanating a replica of the sun's light. She fired the ball at her target while, Corona fired her own version of the ball conjured from her mouth which trailed after the other ball of light.

Snow fell to one knee, as blood dripped from several new wounds.
He looked at Antoinne with intense hatred as a new, more menacing aura began to pour from him.

Snow had become enraged with his attacker, and his sights were set in.

His entire body became engulfed in an aura of frigid blue flames, as he stood once more completely ignoring his new wounds that were now very slowly beginning to heal.

He drew his sword and advanced towards Antoinne, the two spheres of flame coming from behind him stopped as they came into contact with his aura, turing into steam as they did so, however, the force was still enough to knock him down.

He fell forward, into the sand, then got up continuing towards Antoinne.
