I figured I should just as well make a video guide since we keep getting questions about this topic. For the record, I completely uninstalled vJoy and my GCN adapter software as well as nuking my Beta save file in order to make it as fresh an install as possible. When you see me going through the installation process in the video, that is me actually installing it to my computer.

Alternatively, the third-party Mayflash GameCube Adapter has a switch to change between Wii U and PC compatibility, so you don't even need to do this if you have that.

I'm pretty sure the guide is for people who own a Official Adapter, and don't want to buy another accessory just to play this game when they already have one that can be made to work.

Yeah my attempt to make a concise title that would reach the masses seems to have backfired a little when I did not specify in the title of the video that this was only for the official Nintendo one. it is also a major "myb" that I didn't start the video by saying that the video was only for the official adapter, but I figured that the thumbnail only having the Nintendo one, the fact that I specifically mention Mayflash separately in the description, AND that the instructions that I follow do say that it only works for the official nintendo adapter would have been enough.

Big oversight on my end to assume that people would "just know", apparently one guy even installed the driver over his keyboard driver!!!

I've changed the title of this thread to make that explicit, but unfortunately I can't add anything to the video to warn people (Youtube got rid of annotations lololol).

Maybe you just have them turned off or are on mobile.

I just posted that for the people who don't have one yet and are considering buying one.

Is it possible to use the same adapter for two players? I've tried to assign the gamecube adapter as the input for both players but if I pick it for one player it's not available for the other one. I'm on mac, is this a specific problem?

I have the mayflash Wii U adapter and for some reason the analogue sticks are really weird...I can only full jump and moving around is weird/too responsive...any solutions? Ive tried adjusting deadzones and radius

Has anyone figured out how to actually install the mac drivers? Or get the official adaptor to even work on mac?

Thanks for the guide. I've been trying to get a controller to connect to my computer for a long time now and nothing seems to be working, and very few guides out there have been made and are current for SSF2 Beta.

This is how you use a Wii U adapter for SSF2 (this worked for me)
1. get this https://bitbucket.org/elmassivo/gcn-usb-adapter/
2. After installing, open it
3. plug in adapter
4. Press start and minimize the window
5. Open SSF2 and configure the controller
This worked for me and the app became useful in the future for me
