Don't they stack? I thought it was just stacking the same item. Well probably not if that was the case, unless you want a regen item for laning and HoG for a quick Omen for some reason (too bad they nerfed it so it doesn't have any armor haha).

I'm trying to make Leona more viable which means I trade early tanking for attack, and if I get rid of heart of gold I theoretically would have more money to build with.

Thinking infinity edge might help the most since all I need is straight damage and not really attack speed since I'm playing straight tank.

Eh, her specialty is basically really helping the carry what with her stuns and passive yet with meh damage potential what with crappy AP ratios and such.

If you're really gonna go for damage, Trinity/Mallet (former for a bit of everything + proc, latter for cheaper and slowing down enemies for the carry), Funfire seeing as you're gonna be in the thick of things anyway so might as well, and Atma's if you're gonna have a lot of HP items I guess.

Honestly I'd build sunfire last as it's better to get all the armor (force of nature or frozen heart depending on the opposing team's set up) and it's the most extraneous seeing how it's basically additional damage.

That's pretty much it for damage items great on her

Youmuu's could be fine, armor pen, and a speed boost for her I'm guessing lackluster attack speed and catching up

Wriggle's is a bit of a stretch, but it's pretty damn useful with armor, lifesteal, creep killing proc, and a free ward

Different Gp5 items stack their bonuses.

Alright, I was told otherwise.

Unique passive only affects the same item. If two different items have the same bonuses, they stack. That's why you can stack armour, health and other such stats.

ive been told runes are absolutely necessary to jungle with him though - is this true?

Runes are never super necessary, I mean I jungle nocturne without a full rune set and I'm fine.

Runes make it easier though.

Trundle doesn't really need runes to jungle.
