Played Melee today at one of my friend's house. Haven't done that in a while. Also going to church in a few hours before the New Years, so...gonna have fun there.

Heh, oh, and I can't believe that I'm just figuring this out, but while playing Melee, I noticed that SSF2 is nowhere near that speed! Melee is crazy yo!...but yeah, great gameplay speed on both games.

had no heat or power all day in -20 degree weather

today i ended up leaving new york a day later than expected
i rode a bike to downtown brooklyn (like, across the street from Barclays Center) in order to buy some things at gamestop.
ended up staying for hours

one reason was that it was so f*** COLD i swore i had frostbite for a minute

finished the national dex and got two shinies today
however on the flipside i'm pretty tired and b****

today i downloaded the dmc reboot for free from psn
they're giving it away for plus members, with the exception of a bunch of skins and vergil's afterstory

it's pretty good, i like the way ninja theory went about this. it has a cool concept, really.

idk i played a bit of it and thought it was too easy and kinda boring

well yeah it starts off pretty slow and easy, but as it goes along it gets more difficult and interesting (or at least imo).
you can't do much without upgrades either, especially combos, so as you play, you can sorta "unlock" more and more variety

it is

ignoring how edgy it is and how you shouldn't reboot a series you clearly never liked

it is just a boring, casualised mess of a DMC game

why play it when you could play DMC3/4 or Bayonetta or Metal Gear Rising or something else instead

games made by people who actually knew what they were doing

Speaking of which, I tried the Jetstream DLC and got f*** destroyed yesterday

Is it actually that hard, or is it just because I haven't played Rising in about a year?

It's pretty hard compared to the main game + Sam's mechanics take time to get used to + You're rusty

Really neat when you get used to everything though. Remember that taunts make enemies do more damage but take more too
