Kinda wish I didn't loose my PS3 (no idea how Mother did that, it was the fatty one) other wise I'd still be going at the side missions

Let's discuss Final Fantasy X. This game was absolutely wonderful in every sense of the word. I couldn't be more excited that it's being remastered on the FFXIII graphics engine. Hopefully they'll move backward after ten.

OVERKILL!
FFVIII was nice... I had to adjust to the junctioning system and trigger though.

I agree, X was a magnificent game. However there was one thing that nearly ruined it for me:

The god damn protagonist.

Frankly, I like your idea with remastering backwords, but I don't like the idea of having to see and hear Tidus's stupidity in HD.

I feel like tidus' personality was justified by the fact that he's never had to worry, other than Jecht always being on him. Stardom made his head swell, and he had to be thrown in a crazy situation.

That explains how retarded he is in the beginning of the game. I still feel like he was really naive throughout most the game.

Yeah definitely. It added to the realism for me, though. Because he always got everything he wanted, he believed anything was possible. I believe he realized that at the end when he went in Yuna's place. He did mature as the game went on, though, as he found out more about his father, Braska, Auron and Sin. Especially Sin. He didn't really know what he was all about, but when he saw the effects of it like at moonflow, especially he began changing. Lots of nice character development.

While I see where your coming from, and believe me I do, I felt that when he realized that he was a dream it reversed some of the character growth for him. At least to me it seemed like he didn't really care about much.

Granted this could just be a defense mechanism that his own brain has, but it kept him from fully understanding the danger that came with fighting sin until he was in the belly of the beast.

Hmm. Yeah, but he dropped that act early in the game, didn't he? I don't quite remember.

From what I remember he had it off and on. Half the time it would be "Durr hurr I'm invincible" and the other half it was "Oh s*** guys, I don't think we can take this one!"

Hm, gotcha.

What was your favorite, and by extension, most memorable boss fight? For me, it's one word.

YUNALESCA. she has to be one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought, jesus christ.

In Final Fantasy X? Probably Braska's Final Aeon. He was the ONLY boss that gave me any real difficulty throughout the entire game, while most of them I accidentally their health bars. Yunalesca included.

Edit: That and epic boss music was epic.

Really? Was X really that good? I played it for 10 minutes and it bored me so much that I returned it to GameStop.

You're retarded, I am so sorry. That is truly a mistake. Truly. X is arguably the best one.
