Like I said, the leaker wouldn't gain anything. If it was accidental or on purpose nobody knows but it makes it more suspicious.
Normally when someone drops out of an online game, the person that came in after him would switch to his spot leaving the 4th spot open for someone else to join. So then again, unless it really was programmed that way by sakurai, there wouldn't be any reason for those 2 player spots to switch like that.

so you're saying they managed to not only miss the reversed colors, but also managed to 'accidentally' type it in the order 1, 2, 4, 3?
they wouldn't gain anything so they wouldn't do it on purpose. i'm not sure if i would want to make my "leak" look fake. that'd be a stupid thing to do.
how do you know how the game is normally programmed? what would be gained from moving P4 to P3? also, have you ever played an online match? iirc if you save a replay the game will show you what the real order of players was (and otherwise there's ways to go about this), similar to how everyone appears as P1 on their screen.

let's say there are four players. player 3 leaves. instead of removing P4 from, well, P4 and turning them into P3, the game just deletes the data in the P3 slot and moves P4 over closer to the center. then when a new P3 joins, they are put to the farthest side since they joined last.

do i have to grab crayons and paper and draw it out for you?

I never said he accidentally or purposefully did it, I used those as an example. Of course he wouldn't want to make it look fake on purpose. There really is no point in fighting about this. It's a leak that has nothing more on it being real or fake even though every single one so far has been fake... I take the smart route and only believe stuff that's from sakurai himself, not just something that pops up out of nowhere.

since when have most leaks have a record of being true?

for every real leak there's gonna be like a thousand fake leaks. nobody believed the other leaks for melee and brawl, and by this point, since we're so close to release date with footage that looks rather real, i think it's a dumb idea to disregard leaks just because "others have been wrong"

i mean i guess nobody will ever get a copy of Smash Bros for Wii U since nobody has done it yet!

But just because this one looks rather real doesn't mean it is. Why would the names of the characters be removed? Why would the series icons from behind the characters on the bottom screen be removed? It doesn't make sense that way. Just because it's based off the official menu design doesn't make it any more real.

Go ahead and link me some nintendo games that have had real leaks. You may find one or two, but in general nintendo is the most locked-down when it comes to keeping things secret, ESPECIALLY sakurai with smash bros.

i never said it is real. i'm saying we can't discredit it immediately which you do instantly because you don't think hard enough into it. he'd achieve nothing by switching the spots and make himself less credible if he did so with photoshop, and you can't just f*** something like this up. it's a lot easier to type P1 P2 P3 P4 as opposed to accidentally type P1 P2 P4 P3. i felt weird just typing that.

it sure has worked for the last two games, huh? i mean it's not like the entire roster was leaked or some--wait
X and Y also had multiple leaks as well, a decent number of which ended up being true.

things change in development. things are altered over time, be they lightly altered, removed, added, or changed completely. here, look at my GIGANTIC POST A FEW PAGES BACK

looks like mario and luigi partners in time was a fake game the whole time, health doesn't match up and there's no x after the coin symbol, plus it lacks the L button and the font isn't as bold.

the line changes sizes in this video. fake video too.

I'm not sure if that person noticed but Game and Watch is on.. you know.. a white.. background..

Does the person who made this video realize things change? Hell, you know what, look at this:

I guess the Brawl trailer is fake too, Kirby doesn't have that move!

things change constantly. this is said in lots of videos outside even outside of smash. it said it on the brawl website. i'm sure this game is the same way.

So, who was he playing with?

All his friends already had the game, as well, apparently.

ok look

legit spoilers here, watch out

the "leaker" switched the p4 and p3 images because he knew people wouldn't realize it at first since they were too busy looking at Metal Sonic

he wanted you to feel like an idiot since you didn't notice how obviously fake it was the first time you watched it

that's it. surprise!

i dont believe said leak because there's other evidence against it (why would metal sonic only have colors that are conveniently based on E3 demo colors?) but something as obvious as "P3 and P4 were swapped" isn't really good evidence since it could have been during something like wi-fi/local wireless testing. if this was the case, they likely would have been caught while recording the footage.
but generally if something like that is off and is impossible to f*** up unless you outright try to f*** up (how would one photoshop a picture of metal sonic in and accidentally swap P3 and P4 when they wouldn't even have been touched?) there's likely a reason for said thing

plus considering his argument for the last leak i figured that he'd be holding the "NO LEEKS R REEL" stance the entire time since he was too closed-minded to think smash could even possibly be leaked
which it was
plenty of times

Surprisingly people who worked on Final Fantasy and the Kingdom Hearts series.
A Metal Gear guy too!
Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies as well! I love the music of that game.

There are a lot of things that I'm looking forward to now. How will they decide who makes what song. This will most likely (imo) be the best Smash soundtrack we've had yet.

Noriyuki Iwadare is the composer not only for dual destinies, but also for the whole Ace Attorney series.

Going back to Lucina for a bit, looking at her Shield Breaker a bit more it shows the top of her hand facing downward with her swing, perhaps giving a tiny bit more evidence that her version of the move might be marth's Melee shield breaker? Either that or she swings from the side since this image only shows the direct contact, and no after-image like it normally would.

How did you come to that conclusion? Thats clearly a stab.
