work feels better when you do it often imo
i hate working most of the time but i've been at work every day since wednesday and will be until tuesday. i get next wednesday off, then thursday is work again.
yet despite feeling a bit tired at the end of the day, i'm not really in a bad mood and cursing to myself that i have to work. i've also been working longer shifts.

tuesday was a sick day
wednesday was normal, but for some reason i'm working thursdays now
then a friend had a breakup and her ex boyfriend (?) was threatening to throw her stuff out of his apartment into the road so she had to go there. i decided to cover the guy who worked outside at the gas pumps so he could go in the store and cover for her. at first i decided i wouldn't go but after deciding me being tired is nothing compared to what she could be going through, i went to work 8 hours

then i worked yesterday for 8 hours because i was asked on wednesday to cover, and i decided to take it since i called in sick on tuesday. i didn't intend to work friday when i took saturday but it was too late anyways

i then worked today for five hours which wasn't bad.

i'm with you, it feels easier if you work often because you're so busy you barely have time to think, like "ugh i have to work this sucks"

also your paycheck will be nice. feels great on payday

yeah. having no free time feels fine every now and then because i don't have to feel the disappointment of my free time ending

today my guitar class went to do a sound check/rehearsal, i was in the control room and i acted as the live sound engineer, i was overseeing everything (literally, I was above the whole place) and I used this:

lmao its a v. comfortable shirt + it was the only pink shirt i could find at old navy

the main issue was needing to have the guitars as loud as possible, when i raised the volume there was some major feedback, so i instead removed the mic gain, lowered the volume as little much as i needed to, and raised the mid's and low's on the mic assigned to the singers, along with tweaking the overall master eq to beef up the sound, the mics used for the other guitarists are sub-par, but eh, it's audible and should make do for the concert, perhaps even get more mics for some of the better players to be more prominent. at first i wanted the chord players to be on the left and right sides so i can pan the two mics to the left and right for more wider sounds, but it's just not feasible. overall it's alright and i made it better than what we had.

i had pot and almost got spotted by some kins but i managed to hide for like 2 minutes and they just passed
