Maybe they pull some DS-emulator s*** and have two displays anyway? it'd kinda work, if people saw it and assumed it was just a shoddy DS port. It's not like they haven't played with your immediate expectations elsewhere in the series (VLR spoilers ->) For example, Phi calling you "grandpa" in one of her first lines in the game. That early on you just assume it's a tick of her personality or something and figure they'll go back to it later, like Sigma's cat puns. So you forget about it until it's relevant

Yeah, I meant the whole actually being able to flip your system upside down thing, the seperarion between narration and actual dialogue is helped by being on the DS, but it's not an integral part, really

They're implying it'll be on Vita as well though so it should be an actual remake instead of another "throw it at the wall, see if it sticks" PC port. They'll probably work around the issues

If it has the puzzles cut out like the iOS version then it can go f*** itself though lmao

I wonder if they have awkward scenes where the characters puzzle out the solution or if they only include the critical dialog

iirc they have added text to explain what the puzzles were and how they solved it

I'd play it and find out but I'm not paying like £4 for a version of a game with the gameplay removed

Yeah. Anyway with ZTD coming out on Steam and (presumably) not cutting the puzzles I assume 999 on Steam will keep them too, regardless of whether it's a port or remake
