70-30 for DK, and I'd sooner go to 80-20 than 60-40. I'll revisit after Super Punch gets fixed.

Kirby has a lot going for him: really good combos, decent range, and good up-B punishes offstage for early kills. I think that the main problems lie in the neutral game, but after that Kirby can stand toe to weird foot thingy with DK. Just avoiding DK Punch and getting in with bair or Inhale works wonders.

I think it just depends. It's kinda like the IC's vs Bowser in Brawl.

If IC's get a grab, Bowser gets owned. Otherwise, it's generally in Bowsers favor. It's still a bad MU for him though.

Don't think it's exactly different here. It centers around who gets hit first, but should Kirby get hit, he'll have more trouble catching up.

No one has mentioned the fact that Kirby's crouch is super low. If Kirby crouches, a lot of characters have to approach him completely differently. Do DK's aerials go over Kirby when he is crouching? Sure would suck to bair and miss completely. That is an important feature of the neutral game.

Sure, but considering that now Kirby has forced CF to stay grounded to actually hit, the list of moves CF can use is greatly limited. CF can't even grab Kirby! His most viable moves are dair (which has enough startup lag to be shielded), jab, dtilt, and dash attack. Plus Kirby has his own dtilt which has respectable range of its own. I'm not saying that Kirby should just camp his crouch, but he should throw it into his movement so that Falcon (and probably a lot of other characters) will have a hard time landing good approaches.

And until dtilt combos into knee Kirby still wrecks Falcon lol

Well obviously crouch isnt the only thing you should be doing.

Hammer is important too.

needs more taunt

Kirby's taunt is up there on the taunt tier list. One of kirby's greatest assets imo. If you're not using you may as well play a lower tier taunter like jigglypuff. Of course, if you like high tier taunters but don't like kirby, captain falcon is a great option.

Captain Falcon even has a taunt built into his up spec: HYESZ!

I love how no one gets that a good DK will be using dtilt like crazy for spacing you out, not to mention his dair is like the strongest in the game for gimps.
