I still don't know how their brains work. Thinking about it now, they put too much faith in their fan-base to trust that we wouldn't hate the Endless Eight loop.

I may be a bit late, but realizations hit when they please.

Honestly, as a whole, Season 2 was pretty good. Even more so if you ignore Endless Eight. The other episodes were awesome.

f*** yes, they were awesome. I loved the Mikuru Beam part. Just seeing Yuki in action is candy. I think the way they do it is best, too. Seeing her scenes used so sparingly only makes them that much more special. If she was jumping around every episode, it wouldn't be as awing.

I take it back, they would be. MORE YUKI FIGHTING.

Nope. There are minor differences. Halfway through, they find out what's going on and hold a meeting about it. About the last three episodes have Kyon almost saying something to Haruhi as she walks away for the last time. Then he finally does and it ends the cycle. Pretty coo.
