I started watching the japanese dub a few days ago. It's good, and quite funny. But there's one thing I noticed...THE SHOW HAS NO PLOT! Didn't anyone noticed? Each show never has a plot. It's just random parts during the days. Konata is so far my favorite character...She's a freak on anime, manga, and games...

Anyway, one funny thing I like about the show is the Lucky Channel. Is it just me or does Minoru Shiraishi look like he's related to Brock?...

Konata FOR THE FREAKING WIN.

Konata is the wierd, otaku, manga lovin', anime freak. Everyone loves her!

Are that guys eyes always closed? If so then maybe a little bit. other then that he doesnt look like brock.

He only opens them in the last few episodes, when he snaps.

Brock opens his eyes once him a while.

Oh and also, their eyes aren't really closed. That's just how some asians appear. It looks like they have their eyes closed, but their eyes are just half closed.

I've always thought Brock was black...

Still, Lucky Star is a yon-koma manga. You try squeezing in a plot in four panels. Since this is an anime adaptation, I'd figure they did a great job. A bit much on the Haruhi references (there are some numerous others, but those that stick out more are FMP and Shuffle!) in my opinion. Best part is Konata singing the DBZ OP.

This show was f*** epic! Konata ftw! She has to be my favorite charecter. I love the part in one episode were the ghost of Konata's mom appears in a picture and Konata and her dad are freaking out going, :Burn it! Destroy it!" and the ghost of Konata's mom is like, "No don't do that!"

i like tsukasa.

It's kinda wierd how everyone looks so young but they are actually 17 years old. I mean seriously, look at them!


I wonder why Tsukasa isn't smart, she actually looks like she's smart. Well, a little.

i started watching it when i saw Yuki, then i fell in love with the opening! but yuki was only on a part of an episode ;-;

When you say Yuki, do you mean Yuki from Haruhi? She only appeared like once for the Haruhi parody. I think Yuki and Kyon are the only actual people from Haruhi to actually appear. Or maybe they were just random people cosplaying...
