More importantly what is it exactly that makes Christianity so much more reasonable to you than all the other beliefs?
What was it that made you say, "Yep. This is it. This is how the universe works."?

I'm a Christian

For me personally, what sold me was the fact that we know Jesus existed from lots of texts, Christian and non-Christian, not only that, but we also know from history that only one of the Apostles didn't die for their beliefs (and he got stuck on an island to die for his beliefs). Since these people (not including Paul) all spent quite an amount of time with Jesus, they'd have a fair idea of whether or not Jesus was a phoney. They died for their beliefs and for what they believed to be true. Now if these people were willing to die for they believed to be fact, there's got to be some sort of fact in there.

I would say
"that's pretty kickass"

Many died in the name of Muhammad during his time, hell, peasants were willing to fight against their local government because Muhammad willed it. Many of those close to Muhammad were killed in battle or later in life because Muhammad claimed that he was serving Allah's will.

Mm. There are tons of people that have died for their religion, and they can't all be right.

I believe in no religion.
I also don't believe in evolution.
I am undecided. I just don't see why people worry so much about where there gonna go when they die. I mean, if there is some "God" of some sort, why would he/she/it put you on a planet just to worship him/her/it?

The fact that there are people out there that still don't "believe" in evolution genuinely distresses me.

There's a difference between people dying for a religion and people on the very inside dying for a religion. In addition to this, the Quran also rejects miracles so all deaths were based on speech alone (some Islam theologians believe that the splitting of the moon was allegorical. Even if that was not the intention, the only person who recorded it was Muhummad and which I find a bit suspicious)

The main reasons I reject Islam are

1. It was written by only one person. As soon as only one person writes a text, consistancy is easy, but the text is unreliable as there is no backup. No one can pop in and say "hey, he's legit" or anything without evidence.
2. Looking at Muhummad's life, the amount of military actions he took, I really think that those called the "extremist" Muslims are the ones who are right. I think Muhummad did write the texts rejected by the more "passive" Muslims. I don't know how to react to a bad God but I don't think worshipping him is the way to go.
3. Looking through the processes that are used in order to give us the texts that make up the bible today and comparing them to articles such as the dead sea scrolls, we find that they are very similar indeed and that Muhummad's claims of them being distorted are pretty much proven to be false.

There are more reasons, but those are the big three.

A singular person did not write the Koran, yes Muhammad took a large amount of military action during his life and was responsible for more than just taking cities *He pirated peasant trade routes etc..* and Muhammad never claimed that the original texts were distorted. Islam sees many of those in the old testament such as Lot and Abraham as men of good character and saints.

How do you not believe in evolution with all the amounts of proof theories and laws provided. I could understand religion but evolution?
